Nintendo has announced two separate Nintendo Direct livestreams scheduled for September 8 and 9, each beginning at 10 a.m. ET. Both events will be available for live viewing on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, with video-on-demand replays becoming available immediately after each presentation concludes.
The September 8 broadcast will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda franchise and run approximately 30 minutes. Zelda content has been notably limited on the Switch 2 since its launch. Nintendo previously revealed plans for a remake of the classic 1998 title Ocarina of Time, and this Direct is expected to showcase gameplay footage and details about the reimagined version.
The September 9 Nintendo Direct will focus on non-Zelda titles coming to Nintendo platforms and will extend for 45 minutes. While specifics remain unclear, the presentation may include announcements regarding FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launching in October, and Xenoblade Genesis arriving next year. Additional third-party game ports or entirely new title announcements could also be featured during this extended window.
