The cast of the upcoming thriller sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint underwent minimal preparation before filming began, according to interviews conducted by Mashable Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko. The production schedule proved remarkably tight, with the actors noting that the timeline from casting to principal photography lasted only one to two weeks.
During her content day with stars Tom Brittney, Arsema Thomas, and Harriet Slater, Puchko participated in a ropes course challenge—an experience that consumed nearly as much time as the cast’s own stunt training. Slater revealed that formal stunt practice was limited to the first week of production, with the rest of the shoot relying heavily on improvisation and spontaneous reactions from the performers.
Thomas explained the filmmakers’ approach during the physically demanding sequences, describing how the production team encouraged authentic responses rather than rehearsed movements. This method prioritized capturing genuine reactions from the actors as they navigated challenging scenes. Fall 2: Deadpoint arrives in theaters on September 2.
