Manager Vincent Kompany indicated at Friday’s press conference that a final decision regarding Musiala’s participation would be determined following the team’s training session. According to Sky Germany, that determination has now been made in favor of the German international’s return to the squad.
Musiala’s absence stems from a neurological condition that caused him to collapse during two separate pre-season matches against RB Leipzig and 1. FC Heidenheim. The midfielder subsequently revealed he had been diagnosed with temporary episodes related to a neurological dysfunction. Since then, Bayern has carefully managed his recovery, gradually reintegrating him into training sessions.
The cautious approach appears to have yielded positive results, with Musiala now ready to take the next step in his recovery process by returning to matchday squads. His availability will provide a boost to Bayern’s attacking options as they travel to face the newly promoted Schalke side.
