Marshall is launching the second installment of its partnership with legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, expanding the successful collaboration with new portable audio products. The amplifier manufacturer is releasing wireless headphones and a Bluetooth speaker as part of the collection commemorating six decades since Hendrix first connected with Marshall amplifiers, a connection that shaped the brand’s American legacy.
The new lineup features the Major V on-ear headphones and Emberton III portable speaker, both decorated with the “Purple Haze” aesthetic. The designs incorporate purple and black swirling patterns across the headband, earcups, and speaker body, complemented by silver-tone accents. Additionally, the speaker includes audio cues from Hendrix tracks that activate when the device powers on or pairs with another device.
The headphones are priced at $180, while the speaker retails for $160. Both items are immediately available through Marshall’s official website, with wider retail distribution beginning September 9. A portable studio amplifier will also debut on that date. This release follows Marshall’s earlier May collaboration, which featured an amplifier stack and home speaker, and continues the brand’s busy year of artist partnerships including projects with the Sex Pistols and Billie Joe Armstrong.
