The pop group’s label announced the decision via social media, noting that Laforteza will miss the “Wildworld” tour stops across the United Kingdom and Europe, which commence on Tuesday and run through mid-September. The label expressed its commitment to supporting the artist during this time.
Laforteza’s absence follows her announcement earlier in August that she would temporarily step back from the group to concentrate on her mental health and overall wellness. The label’s statement requested understanding from fans, emphasizing that the well-being of their artists remains the top priority. The company pledged to provide continued updates as the situation develops.
This represents another challenge for Katseye, which has experienced several personnel changes this year. In February, bandmate Manon Bannerman took a hiatus for health reasons. Additionally, the group recently withdrew from a major music festival appearance due to a separate member’s injury. Despite these obstacles, Katseye achieved significant commercial success with their album “Wild,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in August. The North American portion of the “Wildworld” tour is scheduled to begin in October.
