Fort Wayne Carroll and Westfield dominate the statewide top 25, holding the first and second positions respectively among all classifications. Carroll remains undefeated at 13-0 with a Z-rating of 25.00, while Westfield sits close behind at 10-1 with a 24.18 rating. Class 4A programs claim the majority of top positions, with ten teams occupying spots in the overall rankings.
Beyond the elite tier, several competitive programs stand out across lower classifications. Perry Central leads Class 2A with a perfect 16-0 record, while Indianapolis Lutheran tops Class 1A rankings. Providence, Batesville, and Northview lead their respective Class 3A competition, each demonstrating strong performance early in the season.
