Higgsfield, an artificial intelligence platform focused on generative video and image creation, has secured $400 million in Series B funding. The investment values the company at $5.4 billion, representing a dramatic increase from its $1.3 billion valuation just eight months prior. DST Global led the funding round, with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Valor Capital, and Tribe Capital.
The company, founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, a former executive at Snap, has rapidly expanded its user base to 30 million people across more than 200 countries. Higgsfield offers tools including Cinema Studio for filmmakers creating AI-generated films and Marketing Studio for advertising professionals. The platform has gained attention for its high-profile film premieres at Cannes and in New York over the past year.
Recent financial metrics demonstrate significant commercial momentum, with the company reporting $700 million in annualized revenue. Enterprise adoption has emerged as a particularly strong growth area, with Higgsfield now serving 390 companies from the Fortune 500 list. Mashrabov emphasized that the fresh capital will support hiring and product development while also addressing the substantial computational demands required for video AI processing, noting that rendering a single minute of video requires processing power equivalent to handling 60,000 words of text.
