The cast of “Heated Rivalry” continues to expand for its second season with the addition of five new performers. Emily Hampshire, known for her work in “Schitt’s Creek,” will join the production alongside Edvin Ryding from “The Young Royals.” Additional cast members include Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka, who will round out the new additions to the Crave-HBO Max series.
The newcomers will take on specific roles within the show’s narrative. Hampshire has been cast as Vanessa, while Ryding will portray Luca Haas. Naylor, Jalees, and Priyanka will play Wyatt Hayes, Farah Jalali, and Tarek respectively. They will appear opposite returning cast members Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, as well as previously announced new additions Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie.
“Heated Rivalry,” which is based on Rachel Reid’s “Game Changers” book series, became an unexpected cultural phenomenon following its November 2025 premiere. The show’s rapid rise in popularity led to its swift renewal for a second season in December. Jacob Tierney continues his role as writer, director, and executive producer, with Mike Goldbach joining as co-writer for the upcoming season. The series is produced through Bell Media’s Crave with international distribution handled by Sphere Abacus.
