An individual operating under the alias Cyberleek has been distributing multiple clips showcasing various elements of the game, with new material appearing throughout the week. Publisher Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive are intensifying their efforts to identify and halt the person responsible for the breach.
On Wednesday, Rockstar issued its first public response to the situation, describing the leaks as devastating to the development team. Simultaneously, Cyberleek released additional footage, including scenes featuring Lucia Caminos, one of the game’s two main characters. Recent videos show gameplay sequences such as nightclub exploration, beach bicycle riding, a fictional game store visit, and a police chase involving vehicle theft alongside a cutscene with Lucia.
As of the latest update, approximately 15 distinct leaked videos have circulated across social media platforms. While formal verification remains incomplete, Rockstar’s statement and Take-Two’s legal actions targeting Cyberleek—which describe the material as stolen content—suggest the footage’s legitimacy. The company has filed subpoenas against major technology platforms in pursuit of identifying the leaker.
Rockstar plans to present an official extended gameplay presentation on Netflix Thursday, providing an authorized glimpse of the title ahead of its release.
