Hypershell is set to unveil its latest innovation at IFA 2026 in Berlin next month. The company will showcase the Halo, described as its most advanced exoskeleton to date, during a keynote presentation scheduled for September 3. This marks a significant expansion for the wearable technology firm, moving beyond the hip-focused designs that established its reputation in the market.
The Halo represents a major technological leap, featuring a unified system that integrates four powered motors working in tandem across both hip and knee joints. This coordinated approach differs substantially from Hypershell’s previous models, which concentrated assistance on a single joint. According to the company, this expanded architecture enables the exoskeleton to deliver support across the entire lower body, accommodating a broader spectrum of movements and terrain variations.
Hypershell’s earlier X Series exoskeleton has already demonstrated promising results in real-world testing. The device delivers approximately 800 watts of peak power, enabling users to experience significantly reduced physical strain during challenging activities like climbing and traversing uneven ground. Testing indicated the technology could enhance leg strength by up to 40 percent while decreasing exertion levels by 30 percent, contributing to improved endurance and reduced recovery time. Battery performance also proved reliable, offering extended range with quick recharging capabilities.
Visitors to the IFA 2026 conference, running through September 8, will have the opportunity to examine both the new Halo and the X Series at Hypershell’s exhibition space in Hall 12, Booth 119.
