Entertainment veteran Felicia Day is launching multiple projects simultaneously, combining forces with collaborator Wil Wheaton on a fresh tabletop gaming series while simultaneously crowdfunding a reunion film for her web series “The Guild.” The new show, titled “Conludo”—Latin for “play together”—comprises ten episodes and will premiere as exclusive content connected to the ongoing Kickstarter campaign for “The Guild: Ren Faire’d,” which has already exceeded its $1.5 million goal by raising over $5.26 million.
“Conludo” marks Day and Wheaton’s reunion after their previous collaboration on “TableTop,” a web series that ran for four seasons between 2012 and 2017. The new format centers on conversations between the hosts before they select an appropriate board game and invite celebrity guests to participate. Confirmed guest appearances include Todd Stashwick, Anjali Bhimani, Grace Helbig, Mamrie Hart, and John Ross Bowie. Unlike its predecessor, “Conludo” prioritizes the social dynamics and experiences of players over showcasing commercial board games.
Day expressed enthusiasm about returning to web content creation at a time when tabletop gaming content has become increasingly mainstream. She emphasized her consistent pioneering role in digital entertainment, noting she was among the first to explore web-based narrative fiction and streaming gaming content. Both Day and Wheaton remain open to extending “Conludo” beyond the initial ten episodes, though they continue evaluating distribution strategies that prioritize accessibility for viewers.
