Dyson has expanded its beauty product lineup with two new offerings unveiled at the company’s September 3 event. The brand, already recognized for its Airwrap styling tool and high-end hair dryer, is introducing the AirSmooth dryer brush and the Corrale CoolShine straightener to compete in the hair care market.
The AirSmooth dryer brush marks Dyson’s first dedicated brush designed specifically for drying and styling hair simultaneously. Priced at $249, the tool launches September 8 and features flexible bristles that bend up to 90 degrees, along with anti-snag technology. The device includes intelligent temperature monitoring that checks heat levels 100 times per second and offers universal voltage compatibility for travel. These specifications position it as an alternative to existing dryer brushes from competitors like Revlon, T3, and Drybar.
The Corrale CoolShine straightener, arriving September 15 at $329, incorporates cooling technology designed to minimize heat damage. The straightener uses heat-extracting pipes that cool hair immediately after styling, potentially helping to preserve the finished look and reduce potential damage. Unlike earlier Corrale models, this version includes a corded design, eliminating charging concerns.
Both products reflect Dyson’s strategy to broaden its beauty technology offerings beyond its established flagship devices, targeting consumers seeking premium hair styling solutions with advanced engineering features.
