The Deauville American Film Festival has announced its industry programming for the 2026 edition, featuring a dedicated two-day sidebar focused on professional development and networking. The Deauville Industry Days will showcase multiple sessions designed to address key aspects of film and television production, from creative to business perspectives.
Among the featured programming, attendees will explore food styling in cinema through a session examining the techniques used in productions like “Emily in Paris,” courtesy of Wallace Food Stylist. Additional panels will address award campaign strategies, financing opportunities for international productions in France, and pathways for French actors pursuing careers in Hollywood, featuring industry professionals including casting directors and talent agents.
The industry section will also spotlight international co-productions, with a discussion centered on how Netflix’s romantic comedy “Champagne Problems” was produced and filmed in France. This session will bring together the filmmakers and producers behind the project to discuss practical insights from the shoot.
The 2026 Deauville American Film Festival runs from September 4-13 at the French seaside venue. The festival will also honor numerous industry figures including actors Brendan Fraser, Ethan Hawke, Faye Dunaway, and Susan Sarandon, alongside its feature film programming.
