DAZN, a prominent streaming sports platform, has announced plans to acquire EverPass Media, a distributor of sports content to commercial venues such as hotels and bars. The deal positions DAZN to take control of the commercial licensing rights for the NFL’s “Sunday Ticket” package, which broadcasts all out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season games. The acquisition marks a significant expansion of DAZN’s presence in the U.S. market.
Following the transaction, EverPass will be rebranded as DAZN for Business, with current CEO Alex Kaplan remaining in leadership and assuming additional responsibilities within the broader DAZN organization. The company’s existing investors—RedBird Capital Partners, TKO Group Holdings, and the NFL’s 32 Equity—will maintain minority stakes in the combined entity. Current customers can expect uninterrupted service throughout the transition.
EverPass currently holds commercial distribution rights for premium sporting events including English Premier League matches, UEFA Champions League games, and major American sports leagues. The company maintains partnerships with major streaming platforms and regional sports networks. DAZN’s CEO emphasized the strategic value of EverPass’s established relationships with venues and premium sports content portfolio, enabling the company to serve both individual consumers and commercial customers.
