Yahoo Fantasy Football has launched Custom Recipes, a new feature that allows league commissioners to quickly implement preset scoring formats created by popular fantasy personalities and content creators. The streamlined approach eliminates the need for manual configuration, enabling leagues to adopt unique scoring systems with a single click.
The initial selection of Custom Recipes includes three distinct formats designed by well-known fantasy analysts. “Cheetah Mode,” created by Goodboy Noah, emphasizes rushing production with double points for rushing yards and eight-point rushing touchdowns. “Let Him Cook,” from Matt Harmon, features six-point passing touchdowns and enhanced yardage rewards for quarterbacks. “The Long Ball,” developed by Justin Boone, rewards explosive plays with bonus points for 40-plus yard completions and touchdowns.
Commissioners can access Custom Recipes through the Scoring Settings section of Commissioner Tools and have the ability to share their chosen format directly in league chat for member discussion before implementation. The feature arrives as the first installment of Yahoo Fantasy’s “29 Days of Fantasy” promotional campaign, which will introduce additional fantasy football enhancements throughout the season.
