Carla Jeffery, known for her role as cheerleader Bree in Disney Channel’s “Zombies” franchise, has passed away at age 33. The actress died on September 1, with her management company, Alexanders Talent, announcing the news through social media. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Jeffery became recognized for her recurring character across multiple installments of the “Zombies” series, beginning with the 2018 film and continuing through subsequent sequels and an animated spinoff. Beyond her Disney Channel work, she accumulated television credits including appearances on “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Southland,” and “American Vandal,” among other productions. She began her entertainment career at age 12, appearing in the film “Phat Girlz.”
In a statement, Alexanders Talent mourned the loss of an artist who had been affiliated with the company for over two decades. The agency praised Jeffery’s talents and warm personality, describing her infectious smile and vibrant presence. A native of Houston, Jeffery was the twin sister of actor Carlon Jeffery, who appeared in Disney Channel’s “A.N.T. Farm.”
