Geese frontman Cameron Winter is releasing a live album capturing his performance at Carnegie Hall, scheduled to arrive October 9th. The sold-out concert took place last December at the renowned New York City venue, establishing Winter as one of the youngest artists to headline the historic space. The milestone performance concluded a successful period that included the release of his debut solo album Heavy Metal and Geese’s third studio effort, Getting Killed.
The 11-track Live at Carnegie Hall showcases predominantly material from Heavy Metal, featuring well-received tracks such as “$0,” “The Rolling Stones,” “Cancer of the Skull,” and “Love Takes Miles.” Additionally, the project introduces three previously unreleased compositions: “It All Fell in the River,” “Emperor XIII In Shades,” and “If You Turn Back Now.” The album will be made available in multiple formats including digital, CD, and vinyl, with the vinyl version featuring distinctive gatefold artwork.
While the live album announcement excites fans, details remain unclear regarding a potential concert film shot during the Carnegie Hall performance. Industry reports indicated that acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson oversaw filming that evening, with filmmaker Benny Safdie assisting with camera work. Currently, Winter is focusing on Geese’s European tour, with the band set to commence a North American tour in September extending through November.
