Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has entered the media production space with the launch of Out of Pocket Studios, a new company focused on developing entertainment, commercial, and experiential content. Allen will serve as both CEO and executive producer across all projects under the studio’s banner. The venture builds on a partnership Allen established with Skydance Sports, a division of Paramount Skydance, that began last January.
Lindsey Cohen, who previously held leadership positions at Meadowlark Media and DAZN, will manage daily operations at Out of Pocket Studios. In a statement, Allen expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that Skydance Sports has provided him the opportunity to develop ideas he is passionate about into tangible projects.
The studio’s initial slate features several upcoming releases. “America’s Tailgate,” a music and celebrity-focused television special, is set to premiere Labor Day on CBS, hosted by Nate Burleson alongside Melanie Collins and Whitney Cummings. Additionally, “NFL Play Action,” a weekly sports analysis program featuring Kyle Brandt and Ally Love, will debut on Paramount+ in September. A documentary titled “The Buffalo Miracle,” directed by Ben Proudfoot, tells the story of a Buffalo McDonald’s manager who provided shelter during a deadly 2022 blizzard. Allen also has a comedy series in development.
