Following Apple’s September 9 announcement, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now available for preorder beginning September 12 at 8 a.m. ET, with the devices launching on September 18. The new flagship models arrive in four color options: deep black, silver, burgundy, and glacier blue. Starting prices are $1,199 for the Pro model and $1,299 for the Pro Max in 256GB configurations, representing a $100 increase from the previous generation.
Major wireless carriers are competing aggressively to attract customers with substantial preorder incentives. T-Mobile offers a free iPhone 18 Pro with eligible trade-ins or carrier switches, plus up to $930 in additional trade-in credits on select plans. AT&T provides free iPhone 18 Pro models with qualifying older iPhone trade-ins and premium plan activation, along with up to $800 in switching credits. Verizon offers up to $1,200 in discounts when adding new lines with approved trade-ins. Smaller carriers are also participating, with Visible providing $480 in monthly service credits and Total Wireless offering $600 discounts on all Access plans.
Apple itself provides trade-in credits ranging from $175 to $885 depending on the device being exchanged, with potential savings reaching $1,200 through specific carrier partnerships. Additional financing options are available through various retailers, allowing qualified customers to pay as little as $78 monthly for their new device.
