Wilson claimed victory in Monday’s high school golf competition at Manor Golf Course, defeating Daniel Boone with a final score of 246-282. Luke Fallon led the winning effort, carding an impressive two-under par 57 for 15 holes. Ian Miller contributed 62 strokes, while Ellis Brown and Colton Harter rounded out Wilson’s lineup with 63 and 64 respectively. Daniel Boone’s scoring was paced by Marty Packer and Ben McFetridge, who each shot 68.
Twin Valley secured a decisive victory over Kutztown in a nine-hole match at Rich Maiden Golf Course. Carter Borkowski spearheaded Twin Valley’s 166-180 win with a two-over par 37. Jerry Doolin and Luke Raines each added 42 strokes to the team total, while Sean Murphy contributed 45. Kutztown’s scoring was led by Andrew Gilbert and Daniel Yearick, who both shot 42.
In a third matchup Monday, Schuylkill Valley defeated Hamburg 256-293 at Green Acres. Connor Huggard and Rowan Gilmer paced Schuylkill Valley with scores of 62 and 63 respectively over 15 holes. Brody DeJesus and Brayden Stricker completed the scoring with 65 and 66. Hamburg was led by Issak Stewart’s 64-stroke performance.
