During her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop at London’s O2 Arena on August 16, Ariana Grande welcomed her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo to the stage for a special duet performance. The two actresses sang “For Good” and “Happy Days” together, marking the second night of Grande’s tour run in the United Kingdom.
Grande is currently supporting her seventh studio album, which shares the name of the ongoing tour. The London residency is set to conclude with 10 consecutive dates at the O2, wrapping up on September 1. Both Grande and Erivo gained Oscar nominations for their roles in the “Wicked” film adaptations, where they portrayed Glinda and Elphaba respectively.
Following the conclusion of her tour, Grande plans to take an extended break from public-facing work. A representative confirmed to media outlets that the performer intends to step away from the spotlight after completing the London dates, citing the need for rest following an intensive promotional schedule. This break also led to her withdrawal from a West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s “Sunday in the Park With George.”
