Michael and Paula Musgrove, Clancy’s parents, are receiving support through a verified GoFundMe initiative that aims to collect $2 million. The funds are designated to cover expenses related to their relocation from Connecticut to Massachusetts, including accommodation and travel costs incurred while attending their daughter’s court proceedings over the past three years.
Clancy faces charges connected to the deaths of her three young children in January 2023. While she has not contested the facts surrounding the incident, the trial’s focus centers on whether she bears legal responsibility for her actions. Her defense team contends that she experienced postpartum psychosis, a serious mental health condition, at the time of the deaths. Prosecutors, however, argue she acted deliberately, citing digital searches and personal notes presented as evidence during recent court sessions.
During the trial, Clancy stipulated to certain facts, which streamlined the prosecution’s case by reducing the need for witness testimony on agreed-upon details.
