Alison Krauss and Union Station have pulled the plug on the remaining shows of their Arcadia tour following medical guidance. The Grammy-winning artist was instructed by healthcare professionals to undergo a period of vocal rest in order to facilitate proper healing and recovery of her voice.
The band announced the decision through social media, acknowledging the difficult nature of the cancellation while emphasizing their commitment to Krauss’s health. Multiple upcoming performances will be affected, including shows scheduled across Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Nevada, and California, as well as a three-night engagement at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium.
Concertgoers who purchased tickets for the canceled dates will receive full refunds through their original point of purchase. The Arcadia tour was promoting the ensemble’s latest studio album, marking their first collaborative record in over a decade since 2011’s Paper Airplane.
