Hulu has ended its run with “Love Overboard,” the reality dating competition show that premiered earlier this year. The streaming service will not be moving forward with a second season, marking the end of the series after just one installment.
The program, which debuted on March 26, was hosted by television personality Gabby Windey and executive produced by podcast host Alex Cooper. The format placed 22 contestants on a luxury yacht where they competed in various challenges while seeking romantic connections, with winners gaining special privileges aboard the vessel.
Despite the cancellation of “Love Overboard,” Cooper remains active in television production through her newly established Unwell Productions company. She has multiple projects in development, including a dating game show with Harry Jowsey that recently launched on Netflix, alongside a scripted drama series featuring “Vampire Diaries” stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley slated for Hulu.
