WWE’s Money in the Bank event is shaping up with several confirmed participants and upcoming qualifying matches. The 17th annual installment will take place on October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, featuring competitors from both Raw and SmackDown brands.
Bron Breakker and Sol Ruca have secured their spots in the ladder matches after competing in triple-threat matches on Raw. Breakker defeated Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page to earn his position in the men’s competition, while Ruca advanced in the women’s match against Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri, with assistance from returning superstar Bayley during the closing moments.
Additional qualifying opportunities remain available, with five slots still open in each ladder match. Two more qualification matches are scheduled for Monday’s programming, featuring Big Cass, Je’Von Evans, and Austin Theory competing for one men’s spot, while Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, and Raquel Rodriguez battle for a women’s position. These matches will determine who joins Breakker and Ruca in the pursuit of the prestigious briefcase.
While Trick Williams has expressed interest in entering the competition, his qualification status remains uncertain following a recent altercation. Each match will feature six participants climbing the ladder to retrieve the briefcase, with winners earning the opportunity to challenge for a championship of their choice.
