Professional Football Focus has identified Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Tai Felton as a second-year player poised for a breakout 2026 season. Felton, who has impressed during team training camp activities, possesses the athletic tools needed to address a significant weakness in the Vikings’ offensive scheme from the previous year.
According to PFF analyst Daire Carragher, Felton’s speed could provide the explosive dimension the Vikings passing offense desperately needs. The team generated just 28 explosive passing plays from Week 11 onward last season, finishing among the league’s worst in that statistical category alongside the New York Jets.
Felton has already turned heads with standout performances during camp, including a notably impressive catch that caught the attention of observers. If he maintains consistency through preseason games, he could challenge veteran Jauan Jennings for valuable offensive snaps as the team’s third receiver option heading into the regular season.
