Tagovailoa’s statistics from the contest were modest, completing just three of five pass attempts for 22 yards. Both of his drives resulted in punts, leaving little positive to build upon as the preseason continues. The quarterback emphasized his commitment to improvement, stating that better performance is necessary for himself and his teammates moving forward.
Looking ahead, Tagovailoa expressed hope that he will receive additional playing time during the remaining two preseason matchups.
