The USC Trojans football team conducted a practice session at Howard Jones Field in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Photographer Dakota Gray documented the team’s work during the session, capturing various moments from drills and team activities on the field.
The practice featured contributions from multiple offensive players, including quarterbacks Jayden Maiava and Sam Huard, who worked through their respective assignments. Wide receivers such as Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, and Luc Weaver participated in receiving drills, while running backs including Waymond Jordan, King Miller, and Deshonne Redeaux also took part in the team’s conditioning work.
Defensive players were equally active during the session, with linebacker Ryan O’Connell and cornerback Prophet Brown engaging in tackling drills and positional work. Special teams personnel, including long snapper Dylan Black, also participated in their designated drills as part of the overall practice framework.
The Trojans gathered for team huddles throughout the practice to maintain focus and communication among the roster. The August session represents part of the team’s ongoing preparation as the program continues its summer training activities at the Los Angeles facility.
