NPR’s acclaimed Tiny Desk concert series will launch its annual El Tiny celebration this fall, showcasing Latin and Spanish-language artists during Hispanic Heritage Month. The month-long festival runs from September 15 through October 15 and features performances from prominent musicians spanning multiple genres and regions.
The 2026 lineup includes established acts like Los Tigres del Norte and Mon Laferte alongside emerging artists such as Yendry and Draco Rosa. Additional performers set to take the intimate desk stage include Los Mirlos, Melissa Aldana, and Pantéon Rococo, among others. Specific performance dates will be announced later.
Since its inception in 2021, El Tiny has introduced Latin music to broader audiences while celebrating the genre’s cultural significance. According to Alt.Latino co-hosts involved with the series, the programming demonstrates how music transcends geographical and generational boundaries. Previous years have featured Carlos Vives and Silvana Estrada, with Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso’s 2024 performance accumulating over 55 million YouTube views.
The Tiny Desk series has established itself as a platform for Latin artists, having hosted performances from Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Grupo Frontera. El Tiny continues this tradition by providing artists with an opportunity to deliver stripped-down, intimate performances that resonate with both devoted fans and newcomers discovering the artists for the first time.
