Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s World Forum For Art and Culture and Creativeland Studios have announced a strategic collaboration to bring “Krishnavataram” to global audiences. The three-part film trilogy chronicles the life of Lord Krishna through interconnected narratives subtitled “The Heart,” “The Mind,” and “The Soul.” The partnership was officially unveiled on Janmashtami, a significant Hindu festival celebrating Krishna’s birth.
The inaugural installment, directed by Hardik Gajjar and featuring Siddharth Gupta in the lead role, has already completed its domestic theatrical run in India. The collaborative effort will now facilitate an expanded international release across multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English, targeting both diaspora communities and broader worldwide viewership.
Beyond theatrical distribution, the organizations plan to develop the franchise across diverse platforms and formats. These extensions include television series, musical compositions, live performances, interactive games, educational content, and immersive cultural experiences. Producer Sajan Raj Kurup emphasized the initiative’s broader cultural ambitions, describing it as an effort to present Indian cultural heritage and philosophical traditions to international audiences through contemporary storytelling.
According to organizers, the project aims to create a contemporary gateway into the Krishna narrative while maintaining fidelity to its philosophical and artistic foundations. The international rollout of the first film represents the opening phase of this comprehensive strategy to establish “Krishnavataram” as a global cultural movement spanning multiple mediums.
