Universal’s Christopher Nolan-directed epic “The Odyssey” held firm in second place during its eighth week of theatrical release, collecting $2 million and accumulating $111.9 million in total earnings. Meanwhile, Sony’s horror entry “Insidious: Out of the Further” claimed third position in its third week with $1 million, while Disney’s “Toy Story 5” rebounded to fourth place in its twelfth frame with earnings of $565,417.
The competitive landscape saw several other notable performances, including Warner Bros.’ “The End of Oak Street” in fifth place and Universal’s “Minions & Monsters” claiming sixth position. True Brit Entertainment’s “The Death of Robin Hood” launched in seventh place with $427,272 in its opening weekend, signaling fresh competition for the chart’s established players.
