Sony’s latest Spider-Man adventure has achieved a remarkable box office milestone by crossing the $2 billion mark globally in just three weeks. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which features Tom Holland reprising his role as the web-slinging superhero, has generated $785 million domestically and $1.23 billion internationally for a combined total exceeding $2 billion.
The film now joins an exclusive group of only eight movies ever to reach the $2 billion threshold worldwide. This accomplishment places it alongside blockbusters such as the Avatar films, Avengers: Endgame, and Titanic. Notably, “Brand New Day” became the second-fastest film to achieve this financial milestone, surpassed only by Avengers: Endgame, which reached the mark after 11 days.
