Daniel Lubetzky, the entrepreneur behind Kind Snacks and a prominent investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” is unveiling a new weekly video podcast titled “Build or Break.” The show, launching September 3 across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major platforms, takes a unique approach to interviews by exploring both the achievements and significant failures of accomplished individuals across various fields.
The podcast features conversations with high-profile guests including Matthew McConaughey, Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary and others. Rather than focusing solely on success stories, Lubetzky digs into the setbacks and obstacles that shaped his guests’ journeys, examining how they transformed difficulties into breakthroughs. Three initial episodes premiere simultaneously, with interviews from O’Leary, former NBA star Chris Paul and jewelry designer Kendra Scott.
Lubetzky’s vision centers on what he terms his “four Cs”—curiosity, compassion, creativity and courage—as fundamental values driving successful builders. The podcast operates through his Builders initiative and the Lubetzky Family Foundation, currently launching without advertising while working toward financial sustainability. Complementing the podcast launch, Lubetzky is opening “The Art of Failure,” a free pop-up museum installation in Manhattan from September 3-5, showcasing rejected ideas, failed prototypes and other artifacts celebrating the imperfect paths to achievement.
