Filming has concluded on “Exit to the Guillotine,” a psychological horror-thriller directed by Zachary Cotler. The film stars Peyton List, known for her roles in “Cobra Kai” and “School Spirits,” alongside Gustaf Skarsgård, who has appeared in “Oppenheimer,” “Vikings,” and “Westworld.”
The story centers on Burne Peter, an off-Broadway performer who becomes part of an international theater company at an abandoned prison located on Ukraine’s coast. Under the direction of the unstable Dado Levytskyy, portrayed by Skarsgård, the ensemble begins rehearsing a recently translated Polish theatrical work. However, as rehearsals progress, cast members mysteriously disappear one by one.
The ensemble cast also includes Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Lea Myren, Dylan Douglas, and several other performers. Cotler, who both wrote and directed the project, operates through Winter Film Company, his independent production company. The film is being produced by Magdalena Zyzak, Bonnie Timmermann, and several other producers, with List, Skarsgård, and additional cast members serving as executive producers.
