NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock has announced its fourth price increase in as many years, coinciding with the platform’s achievement of profitability for the first time. The new pricing structure takes effect August 18 for new subscribers and returning customers, with existing users seeing the change on or after September 17 depending on their billing cycles.
The ad-supported Premium tier will rise to $12.99 monthly from $10.99, while the Premium Plus plan climbs to $19.99 from $16.99. A newly introduced Select tier, offering NBC and Bravo content without movies, sports, or original programming, will cost $8.99 monthly. Peacock’s most recent increase occurred in July 2025, following similar hikes in preceding years.
The service reported 48 million paid subscribers as of June’s end, adding 2 million during the quarter. Peacock’s content library includes major sporting events like NFL Sunday Night Football and the NBA, alongside original series and thousands of hours of NBC and Bravo programming. The price adjustment aligns with industry trends, as competing platforms including Netflix, HBO Max, and Apple TV have all raised rates within the past two years.
