Pop star Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival has generated $10 million in charitable donations supporting organizations dedicated to women and girls’ causes. The festival, which took place recently, directed all net proceeds to ten nonprofit beneficiaries working across reproductive health, domestic violence prevention, and maternal support.
The recipient organizations span multiple focus areas addressing women’s rights and wellbeing. Baby2Baby supplies essential items to children in need, while Black Mamas Matter Alliance offers resources for Black mothers throughout pregnancy. Reproductive healthcare organizations receiving funds include Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and the National Institute for Reproductive Health. Additional partners include the National Domestic Workers Alliance and FreeFrom, which serves survivors of domestic violence.
The festival featured performances from Rodrigo alongside popular female artists including Mitski, Chappell Roan, Garbage, and Bikini Kill, with special guest appearances from Karen O and Stevie Nicks. Rodrigo credited the legacy of earlier female-led festivals, particularly Lilith Fair, as inspiration for creating the event. She emphasized that participating artists waived their performance fees to support the fundraising goal.
In announcing the results, Rodrigo expressed gratitude toward ticket purchasers, performing artists, sponsors, and donors. She highlighted the importance of the partner organizations’ work advocating for women and girls both domestically and internationally.
