Grady sustained the injury following a Texas running play that resulted in a first down. Medical personnel observed him struggling to bear weight on his right leg and assisted him off the field and into the medical tent for evaluation. According to reports from 97.1 The Fan, the defensive end was diagnosed with a right knee sprain.
While Grady received treatment on the sideline, where he worked on an exercise bike, backup defensive end Beau Atkinson was expected to assume his responsibilities on the field.
