The French comedy series “Call My Agent!” is making its highly anticipated return as a feature film. After concluding its four-season run in 2020, the beloved show will reconnect audiences with the ASK talent agency and its ensemble cast through the new movie directed by Emilinie Noblet. The film reunites the creative team behind the original series, with Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel handling writing duties.
The story picks up five years after the talent agency closed its doors for good. Former agent Andréa, played by Camille Cottin, has transitioned into directing and is working on her first feature film. When the project encounters significant setbacks and her lead actor abandons the production, she turns to her former colleague Noémie, portrayed by Laure Calamy, who now works as a producer on major reality television shows. The two must rely on each other and seek support from their former ASK colleagues to salvage the troubled film production.
The ensemble cast includes returning actors Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, Liliane Rovère, Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Ophélia Kolb, Anne Marivin, and Laurent Lafitte. Despite old rivalries and personal conflicts, the team must work together to overcome the mounting challenges both on and off set. The film arrives on Netflix on September 10.
