The highly anticipated sequel to the popular dungeon-crawling adventure is set to launch on September 29 across multiple platforms including PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. Pre-orders are currently available for both standard and premium versions of the game.
Developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven, the sequel sends players on a new campaign to combat a mysterious threat affecting two different worlds. The game supports single-player progression as well as cooperative gameplay for up to four players through local couch co-op or online cross-play options. Gamers will encounter various hostile creatures, collect and upgrade equipment, and engage with complex combat systems throughout their journey.
Two purchase options are available. The Standard Edition costs $29.99 and grants access to the base game. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $49.99 and includes two future DLC expansion packs in addition to the core experience. Customers who pre-order before September 28 receive exclusive cosmetic items regardless of which version they choose, including a special cape, a unique pet companion, and additional character skins to personalize their playthrough.
