The creators of Apple TV’s “Lucky” have confirmed the series has reached its conclusion with the finale episode “All Good Things.” In the climactic installment, protagonist Lucky Armstrong executes a final con involving her father and criminal associates, ultimately choosing to surrender stolen cryptocurrency funds rather than use them for personal gain.
The episode features several significant character deaths that shaped the story’s resolution. Most notably, character Cary meets his end in a car crash orchestrated by gangster Wayne Whittaker, while Whittaker himself is ultimately killed by Priscilla Masterson in retaliation for Cary’s death. These narrative turns proved pivotal in determining Lucky’s final course of action throughout the series’ conclusion.
Showrunners Jonathan Tropper and Cassie Pappas revealed they learned about actor Drew Starkey’s passionate fanbase only after his character’s death was already written into the script. Both creators have since moved forward with new projects at Apple TV and beyond, indicating there are currently no plans to continue Lucky’s story. Tropper is developing the third season of “Your Friends & Neighbors,” while Pappas is collaborating with filmmaker Graham Yost on an upcoming feature film and a new television series called “Lexicon.”
