Jack White’s ongoing tour continues to deliver memorable moments for rock fans. During a recent performance at Chicago’s Radius venue, the musician invited Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson to join him on stage for an unexpected collaboration.
Rather than performing material from either artist’s established catalogs, White and Robinson opted to cover “I’m a Mover,” a lesser-known track by 1970s blues-rock outfit Free. The dynamic performance showcased White’s guitar work prominently, with Robinson providing lead vocals. The musician later incorporated another blues standard into the setlist, performing Robert Johnson’s “Phonograph Blues.”
White’s current tour, which launched in mid-July alongside the release of his eighth solo album, has established itself as a standout rock experience for 2026. The trek features phone-free venues and regularly surprises audiences with deep cuts from both his White Stripes era and solo career. Previous shows have included appearances by special guests, including White’s daughter Scarlett on bass. The tour will continue through the fall before White heads to Europe in August.
