Wladimir Klitschko, the former professional boxer and ex-partner of actress Hayden Panettiere, released a statement following her unexpected death over the weekend. Klitschko and Panettiere’s relationship spanned much of the 2010s after meeting in 2009. The couple welcomed their daughter Kaya in 2014 and became engaged, though they did not marry. After separating in 2018, Klitschko gained primary custody of Kaya while maintaining that Panettiere remained an important figure in their family’s life.
