Krispy Kreme is offering Pokémon enthusiasts a special promotion this Saturday, August 22. Customers who arrive at participating locations wearing any Pokémon-themed apparel can receive a complimentary Original Glazed doughnut without making a purchase. The offer is available both in-store and via drive-thru, with a limit of one doughnut per person.
The giveaway coincides with the release of Krispy Kreme’s new Pokémon Doughnut Collection, which debuted on August 18 to mark the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The six-doughnut lineup features character-specific designs and flavors, including Pikachu with lemon filling, Charmander with chocolate and marshmallow, Squirtle with cotton candy buttercream, Jigglypuff with strawberry buttercream, and Bulbasaur with vanilla icing. A Poké Ball-themed design rounds out the collection.
Beyond the individual doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is expanding its Pokémon partnership with additional merchandise. The company is releasing Original Glazed Gold Dots packaged in collectible Pokémon-themed cups and offering special dozen-box designs featuring the beloved characters.
