Singer-songwriter Gigi Perez will headline an exclusive concert during New York Fashion Week on September 14 at the Cherry Lane Theatre in Greenwich Village. The intimate performance, part of Encore After Hours powered by Rolling Stone, will feature Perez performing for selected members of Gap Inc.’s Encore membership program and cardmembers. The event will blend music and fashion through both the live concert and a discussion between Perez and Rolling Stone’s Julyssa Lopez about the intersection of these two industries.
Gap Inc. executive vice president and Creative Director Zac Posen will open the evening with remarks before introducing the performer. A smaller group of 50 Encore cardholders will also have access to pre-event cocktails at Wild Cherry, a new restaurant located in the Cherry Lane lobby and hosted by Posen. The 150-seat theater venue ensures an up-close experience with one of music’s fastest-rising artists.
Perez gained initial popularity through TikTok and SoundCloud beginning around 2020, eventually signing with Interscope Records. Her charting single “Sailor Song” has become recognized as a sapphic anthem within the LGBTQ community. She released her debut studio album “At the Beach in Every Life” in 2025 and performed at Coachella this spring. Currently, Perez is touring extensively both as a solo act and supporting Noah Kahan.
Encore membership, which debuted in early 2026, has grown to nearly 40 million active members. Members gain access to exclusive cultural experiences and fashion events beyond traditional rewards. Limited tickets for Perez’s performance can be claimed through the online Encore marketplace.
