Patrick Beverley has secured a new contract with Boulazac Basket Dordogne, a professional basketball team based in France. The former Houston Rockets guard will continue his playing career overseas for the upcoming season, marking another chapter in his international basketball journey.
Beverley spent five seasons with the Rockets before being traded in 2017, establishing himself as one of the league’s premier defensive players. During his tenure in Houston, he earned two All-Defensive Team selections and averaged 9.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists across 291 games. He later played four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, earning an additional All-Defensive honor and finishing sixth in Defensive Player of the Year voting at one point.
The Arkansas native is no stranger to European competition, having played three seasons overseas before joining the NBA in 2012. Since leaving the league after the 2023-24 season, Beverley has continued playing internationally, with Boulazac representing his third European team following stints with Hapoel Tel Aviv and PAOK Thessaloniki.
