Yahoo Sports has announced that Commissioner Plus features are now available at no cost for all Pro and College Football leagues beginning with the 2026 season. Previously a paid subscription service, these tools are now included as standard features for every league, allowing commissioners greater customization options without additional expense.
The free features include League Median Score, which grants teams bonus wins or losses based on weekly performance against league averages, and the ability to play against a second opponent each week for additional winning opportunities. Commissioners can also implement expanded seven-team playoffs and grant players additional position eligibility beyond their default assignments, providing enhanced lineup flexibility across their leagues.
With the discontinuation of the paid Commissioner Plus subscription, all these previously premium capabilities remain fully accessible through the Commissioner Settings section of any league. The move applies exclusively to private Pro and College Football competitions on the platform, marking the fifth day of Yahoo’s ongoing 29 Days of Fantasy promotion.
League organizers interested in utilizing these enhanced customization options can access them immediately when creating new leagues or updating existing ones for the upcoming season.
