LEGO is launching its annual Back to Hogwarts event, running from August 29 through September 6, 2026, featuring new Harry Potter building sets and exclusive merchandise for fans of all ages. The promotion celebrates the fictional return of young wizards and witches to their magical school, offering collectors and casual builders alike an opportunity to expand their brick collections.
Two major sets are highlighted during the event. The Ministry of Magic Collector’s Edition is a substantial 3,491-piece construction designed for adult builders aged 18 and older, featuring three distinct levels including a subway station and Hall of Prophecies. The set includes 14 mini-figures and special collectible pieces such as a golden wizard statue and a 25th-anniversary Lynx Patronus figure. For younger enthusiasts, the Mini Hogwarts Castle offers a compact 700-piece alternative standing just 5.5 inches tall, suitable for ages 10 and up, with buildable Great Hall, Astronomy Tower, and Chamber of Secrets sections.
The shopping event includes several incentive programs for purchasers. Those spending $40 or more on qualifying Harry Potter merchandise receive a complimentary Dumbledore’s Office set, while purchases of $130 or more unlock both Ministry Munchies and The Daily Prophet Stands. LEGO Insider members enjoy additional benefits, including exclusive access to new sets and opportunities to redeem points for limited-edition 25th-anniversary commemorative items.
