Compagno will assume a fourth co-host seat that has been filled by rotating contributors since former host Jeanine Pirro departed last year. She is scheduled to begin her new role on September 8.
“The Five” stands as cable news’s most-watched program, maintaining its top ranking for over four years across 19 consecutive quarters. The roundtable discussion format features regular hosts Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, and Jesse Watters, alongside rotating liberal perspectives provided by Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr. The program’s success depends heavily on maintaining chemistry among its on-air personalities, who engage in spirited debate while preserving the show’s lighthearted atmosphere.
Compagno brings extensive experience to the role, having joined Fox News in 2018 as a legal analyst and contributor. Beyond her on-air work, she has hosted programming on Fox Nation and hosted a true crime podcast. Her professional background is notably diverse, spanning criminal defense law and leadership of the Oakland Raiders cheerleading squad. Scott praised Compagno as “a highly accomplished host whose energy and talent have made her a standout across Fox News Media,” emphasizing the network’s enthusiasm for her permanent placement on the program.
