Lemon sustained the hamstring strain on August 3rd and subsequently sat out nine practice sessions. He returned to limited participation on Thursday, suggesting gradual progress toward full availability. However, the Eagles elected to keep him sidelined for the evening’s contest.
The team has a two-week window before the regular season begins, providing the young receiver time to complete his recovery. Lemon will join several other Eagles players unavailable tonight, including linebacker Jihaad Campbell, running back Tank Bigsby, and defensive tackle Byron Young, among others. These players all saw action in the previous week’s preseason game but are inactive for tonight’s affair.
