Disney, the NFL, Champion and Fanatics have joined forces to create an apparel collection that matches all 32 professional football teams with characters from across Disney’s entertainment portfolio. The lineup draws from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises, creating unexpected pairings designed to reflect each team’s identity and history.
The collection launched officially on Monday and includes a variety of clothing options such as t-shirts, crewnecks and fleece pieces available for men, women and children. Prices range from approximately $29 for youth apparel to $119.99 for select sweatshirts. The items are sold through multiple retailers, including the Disney Store, Fanatics, NFL Shop and select Lids locations nationwide.
Disney’s design team carefully considered each franchise’s background, geographic location, team colors and cultural elements when determining character assignments. Notable pairings include Darth Vader with the Las Vegas Raiders, Thor with the Minnesota Vikings, and Chewbacca with the Green Bay Packers—a selection that references the character’s ability to withstand extreme cold, mirroring winters at Lambeau Field. Some matchups incorporate deeper references, such as pairing the San Francisco 49ers with Stinky Pete the Prospector as a nod to the Gold Rush that inspired the team’s name.
The initiative previewed eight pairings during a “Disney Fan Draft” event at Fanatics Fest NYC in July, where NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appeared alongside notable football figures. The collaboration coincides with ESPN and Disney’s preparations for Super Bowl LXI, scheduled for February 2027.
